A unique opportunity to shape the development of CSR in Europe

The first ever pan-European Award Scheme to inspire CSR excellence in multistakeholder projects was successfully launched in 2012. Now, in Spring 2013, European countries celebrate first winning partnerships and are getting ready for the European Award Ceremony in Brussels.

The ceremony will take place  on 25 June in Brussels and will showcase more than 60 national winners in two categories – SME and large company. This event will mark a next stage of the project – replicating the best practices of innovative impactful partnerships.

This exciting and pioneering initiative focuses on successful partnerships between business and non-business organisations, with particular emphasis on collaborative programmes that tackle sustainability through innovation.

The European CSR Award Scheme was initiated and is funded by the European Commission. It is delivered by the consortium of 29 National CSR organisations and is co-led  by CSR Europe and Business in the Community with the support of Alliance Boots.

Interested applicants should apply at a national level. Click here to see the participating countries and for more information on the conditions of entry click here.

"This new award scheme will highlight the cutting-edge excellence of European enterprises in corporate social responsibility. It will give greater exposure to some of the hidden champions, especially smaller enterprises, who engage in innovative partnerships to maximise their positive impacts on society. Corporate social responsibility is part of the formula for a competitive, innovative and socially inclusive Europe."
Antonio Tajani, Vice-President of the European Commission
